Elephant Parade is the largest “open air” art exhibition in the world

Organized for the preservation of the Asian elephant and after the great successes in the cities of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Amsterdam and London it also debuts in Italy. From 16 September to 15 November 2011 the city of Milan was literally “invaded” by over 50 statues of baby elephants painted by famous and emerging artists.

These are the two elephants made by the graphic designer Giorgio Maggiolo and adopted by the Sant’Angelo Village
